WPS CONNECT DESCRIPTION
WPS stands for Wi-Fi Protected Setup. This is a wireless network security standard that attempts to make connections between a router and a wireless device faster and easier. WPS only works for wireless networks that use a password encrypted with the personal protection protocol WPA Private or WPA2.
Press the WPS button on your router to start discovering new devices. Then, you go to your device and select the network you want to connect to. The device automatically connects to the wireless network without having to enter a network password.
How to enable WPS connection?
First, you need to access the router’s main setup menu.
Click Wireless Settings in the top menu.
And then click Basic Security Settings from the left.
Under Turn on wireless connection, make sure WPS is On/Off.
Now scroll to the bottom of the page and then click Apply.
How to disable WPS connection?
First, open a web browser and type 192.168.1.1.
Now enter your admin username and password.
Then select Advanced Settings -> Wireless.
Now select WPS in the tab and move the side slider to enable WPS in the off position.
How to connect Wi-Fi using WPS?
First, open the inbox.
Then press the scanner’s Wi-Fi on/off button and the Wi-Fi connect button and hold for at least three seconds until it turns blue. Leave the Wi-Fi on/off button when the blue light is shining.
Enter the pin code ***** on the wireless router or access point within two minutes.
