The game features 20 increasingly difficult campaign segments and ten training missions. Players can gain a tactical advantage by completing these missions while using the tools and weapons to outwit their enemies. Players of this game can control the environment and wreak havoc on their rivals with new vehicles. Buildings give worms a tactical advantage by concealing them and protecting them from direct hits. Players can flatten opponents with the Concrete Donkey, turn them into worm meat with the Holy Hand Grenade, rain down hell from above in helicopters, or blast them into oblivion with the tank with the 50 weapons and tools at their disposal.
