In This War Of Mine, you are not playing as an elite soldier, but rather as a group of civilians trying to survive in a besieged city; struggling with a lack of food, medicine and the constant danger of snipers and hostile scavengers. The game offers an entirely new perspective on the war experience. The rhythm of This War of Mine is imposed by the cycle of day and night. During the day, snipers outside prevent you from leaving your refuge, so you must focus on maintaining your hiding place: making, trading and taking care of your survivors. At night, take one of your civilians on a mission to search a set of unique locations for items that will help you stay alive.
