“You are Hope” is based on a PC game created by Jason Rohrer.
This application is not from him though, and he is not involved at all in his creation.
Our game and our online world are distinct from our own and contain additional modifications and exclusive content that we have created.
One important thing to do in this game is to name your children (who are also players). “You are the hope” is what a mother would say when she gives the name “Hope” to her baby.
Your goal is to rebuild civilization from scratch, with other players and through countless generations.
You begin the adventure by playing the baby of another player, or as a young mother if no mother is available. Every passing minute equals one year in the game and the maximum age possible is 60 years old. Indeed, all existence is ephemeral, but your achievements will be transmitted to your children and grandchildren after your disappearance. Try to make life easier for those who will succeed you so that your bloodline has a chance to prosper over many generations.
