Transcribing and translating genetic sequences by hand is a tedious process that many biology students spend hours on repetition. This application speeds up this process by allowing your phone to search for coding sequences and calculate results thousands of times faster than humans. It also detects certain mutations when one or more base pairs are missing, which is also useful for detecting typos. It ignores badly typed foreign characters that could cause problems with similar applications.
